OUR

HISTORY

CMC Sales and Marketing started in 2002 when two former employees of Acosta, Carl Libson and Mike Bracci, decided to form their own company.  The new company's team also included Don Lang of Acosta and Mike White who was a Regional Manager of King's Hawaiian Bakery.

In 2003, Charlie Frankowski the former CEO of Kelley Clarke joined the companies leadership.

In 2005 the company's rapid growth continued when Fabio Molina's Hispanic brokerage company merged with CMC Sales and Marketing.  

In 2012, a veteran Produce team, including Amanda Grillo, joined CMC Sales and Marketing.

Today CMC Sales and Marketing, lead by Amanda Grillo and Fabio Molina, is one of the most respected food brokerage companies in the industry.

Amanda Grillo, President

Having grown up in the produce industry, Amanda has over 30 years experience as a distributor, buyer, retailer, marketer, manufacturer and since 2012, broker.

Having worked "all sides of the desk" Amanda embraces the opportunity to find solutions that generate sales and profits for CMC's clients and the retailers.

Amanda believes in living a quality life, of which food is key! She enjoys seeking out innovative & on-trend food and beverages wherever she goes.

Fabio Molina, Executive VP

Fabio Molina began his career in 1995 as a retail manager with Kelly Clark. When Acosta Sales & Marketing purchased Kelly Clark, Fabio continued his career at Acosta for 17 years, as a brand manager, developing Hispanic brands.

In 2006 Fabio left Acosta to launch his own company, Elite Sales & Marketing, representing Hispanic Brands. In 2009, he merged with CMC Sales & Marketing becoming Vice-President, Partner in the Multicultural Division.
